Platform Upgrade Success

Recently Upgraded Word-press to Version 2.6.1,
I have to say that was the easiest upgrade ever.

Backup ALL Files Including SQL.
- To back SQL you must use PHPMyAdmin and export the database.
- To back all the file you must use FTP.
Delete ALL WP Files.
- I left the wp-content dir and wp-config.php file.
Login as a administrator and Press the Upgrade Database Button.

Out of all the Content Management Systems I found word-press the easiest to upgrade with no problems.

Vista’s Hard Drive Tweak

Ever since I first installed Vista on my laptop, I noticed that the hard drive light just stayed on and at the same time the vista was very sluggish.

Open Source Exchange Server

I recently found an open source email server, just like Microsoft exchange this version cuts costs down.

Well, if you currently running exchange at your company just don’t change. This is just an example what you can find if you look hard enough.

It is called Citadel from Citadel.org, they are even listed in the debian apt-get packages. Which is good for ubuntu because ubuntu makes for a excellent server.
