Mobile Ready
EJTSystems is now cell phone ready! Update: Because of large traffic hitting the site, mysql (the database server) was failing under the load. This mainly cause issues with the sites categories from not displaying. I’ve upgraded the database server from verison 4 to 5.0.
Open Source Version of the iPhone
A community based company called OpenMoko launches their version of a cell phone. Very similar to apples iphone, powered by linux and very customizable. This includes the OS aka Operating System. It is called The Neo FreeRunner.
The Online Virus Scanner
In recent articles i’ve talked about running 2 or more anti-virus scanners is very bad for any system. Think about it, if you have 2 anti viruses Norton and McAffee running. Each time you get,modify, or delete the file every anti-virus has to scan them. Sometimes they conflict which may cause computer slowness. This is on top of any existing programs running.
MAC Windows Linux - One Keyboard
When browsing around i’ve found something intresting. It is called “VCC-400″ this product allows you to use one keyboard and mouse to manage both computers. When you move the mouse torward the one edge of the screen the mouse instantly goes from that desktop to the second desktop. You can even copy data from one machine by using the copy command then when you go to the other machine the clipboard carries over… This can only be found on ebay and korea.
